History
Established in 1993.
In 1972, I started working on trees professionally in Austin. I worked for the other guys for a long time and broke loose to form my own company in 1993. By now, as The Tree Tender, I have done well over ten thousand jobs and I have gone to a clients home for an examination of trees approximately seventeen thousand times. There is no way of knowing how many homes I worked at before I started my own company. I became a certified arborist in 2000, and I have studied trees formally and informally so much I feel myself a scientist of trees. This is my sixty-sixth year of life and I now rely on an young man, Bryce, to run the crew. He will take over someday. Meanwhile, I continue to insure quality work and customer satisfaction by monitoring the work and doing all the examinations and running the business.
