We are a small team of Certified Arborists and highly skilled tree surgeons that are passionate about nature in North Texas. We take a holistic approach to trimming and removing trees, taking special care to maintain and assist a tree’s natural ability to protect itself from wind damage, pests and disease. We are a full service organization with a Certified Arborist on every job site– not just in the sales process; and we also carry full liability and worker’s comp policies so you know both you and your trees are in great hands.
History
Established in 2014.
Blue Ox was founded by Clint & Krystina Robison in 2014. They nurtured the company for 4 years, during which time their team grew to include business manager Laura Hartford, her brother certified arborist Mike Hartford, and certified tree-care safety professional John Clerihew. Then in 2018, the Robisons decided to relocate, leaving Blue Ox in ready and capable hands. A forestry graduate, Mike easily adapted to taking over bids, meeting clients & talking trees with a passion to rival Clint’s. John assumed managing the crews, his certifications & experiences the perfect mix to ensure the health of the trees & the safety of the employees. And Laura now runs operations–with tree care well-covered by Mike & John, customer care is Laura’s #1 passion. The conglomeration of three such experienced & enthusiastic people results in a company which provides the highest levels of expertise while still maintaining the core values of a local family business making a lasting positive impact.
